SERVICES
PROBATE
We act for all local solicitors and trustee banks in the preparation
and issuing of certificates of value which are required by the
Inland Revenue. In most cases this is a fairly simple operation
which normally takes about an hour to complete.
INSURANCE
We are able to prepare full insurance schedules with photographs if
required on entire or part household contents. Alternatively we can
issue letters of value for individual pieces if requested.
FAMILY DIVISION
In some cases when a relative leaves an estate to be
divided equally amongst the family, the entire contents will require
valuation to ensure an even distribution of the chattels.
An inventory with current market realisation values
alongside each item can be produced for this purpose with
photographs if required.
STORAGE
We are able to provide short and long term storage for
antiques and collectables either on site or via reputable companies
if required.
HOUSE CLERANCE
Obviously when a house is being sold all the contents need
to be dealt with, we offer a complete service whereby once the
valuable items have been removed for sale by auction the residual
effects, which have no commercial value, can be removed and disposed
of in an appropriate manner. We can also arrange for the property to
be thoroughly cleaned if required.
REMOVALS
We provide this service for solicitors who have clients
"Down sizing" their homes. An added advantage is that we can then
auction any furniture and effects surplus to their requirements.
CLIENTS
PRIVATE
We act with discretion in all cases, vendors names are not
shown in our catalogue or online. All clients monies both
professional and private are normally transferred within seven days
of the sale taking place. All money held in out clients account
is protected by an RICS endorsed insurance policy.
SOLICITORS & BANKS
All solicitor and Bank Trustee Departments in the
preparation of Probate valuations and disposal of household contents.
INLAND REVENUE
Recently we have started working for H.M.R.C in the seizure
and disposal of assets.
BAILIFFS
We offer a complete service for High Court
Enforcement/Bailiffs agencies with removal and disposal of assets.
CHARITIES
Charities have been using our services for many years as we
charge a substantially reduced commission for goods sold on their
direct instructions.
